This all original 1957 Gibson GA-40 combo amp is in excellent condition. The exterior of the amp shows light to moderate wear on the original black and tweed covering. The grill cloth is almost untouched, and shows almost no distinguishable wear. The original chicken head knobs are present and firmly attached, as is the original Gibson handle. This GA-40 has the original Jensen speaker, with speaker codes 220719 and P12 P C6279, which date the speaker to 1957. All of the original wiring is still in tact and functioning perfectly.
